Yannis Sirros is the Director General of SEPE – the Federation of Hellenic ICT Enterprises. He holds a MA in Management and a MSc in Information Systems. He was Board Member of DIGITALEUROPE from 2012 – 2017. Preceding his present position, he has held positions as an IT Advisor at many key Ministries in Greece. He was also a member of the organising committee, responsible for drawing up the Operational Programme for the Information Society in Greece, as well as participated, as an IT specialist, in the evaluation of proposals within the EU 5th FP. Mr. Sirros has started of his career 25 years ago at the Greek office of Control Data Inc.  Mr. Sirros is Vice Chairman Europe of the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) and Member of the Task Force of the European IT Observatory (EITO).
